We have a 3 years fully funded PhD studentship available.
Applications are invited from outstanding candidates with a Bachelor/Master Degree in Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, Advanced Materials Science, Medicinal Chemistry (or related disciplines). Experience in conjugated polymers and their blend with polyelectrolytes, polyelectrolyte co-polymers, biomaterials design, functional hydrogels and “smart nanomaterials” would be advantageous.
Specific skills enhancing a candidate’s application include experience in some of the following areas: polymers and oligomers synthesis and processing, hydrogel-based biomaterials processing; advanced electron and optical microscopy; spectroscopic techniques.
